I would probaly recommend NOT going to Johns Firestone. I had some work done there that I'm not too happy about. (Brake Job).

Thank You...

Man I had a bad experience there with repairing my breaks as well. But they do an excellent job on brakes. 8)

you should try Benzabeh's Auto"Moe"tive it is about 45 minutes to an hour down hwy 44 but it is worth it, it is at the union exit.

Because that's a REAL good idea when his transmission's leaking.

I've used Custom Muffler (I think..) on the corner of Oak and 6th downtown.

Tune's does excellent work, and they are very reasonably priced. They have worked on both my truck (several times) and my wife's car and have done an excellent job each time. I would definitely use them.

Don't go to All-American Auto on 18th.

The replaced my radiator and forgot to tighten down any of the lines on my tranny cooler after taking it out.

I've been there several times with my '83 firebird. Very quick (almost always got my car back the same day or next morning, and that even includes engine/transmission mount replacement), and they seem to do a good job. I'm satisfied for now, but the day they screw something up is the day they get a heat-seeking missle surprise.

I took my 92 Volvo out to Petty's. He is hella honest. Fairly quick and reasonably priced as well. Only charged me $40 for what would've been $80 back home.

To get there, go down Kingshighway, turn left at the gas station like you're going to the Tater Patch, but keep on going. It's past the dogfood plant on the left side of the road.

I think he does only foriegn cars, but I'm not sure on that.

Stay away from Hayne's Garage near Zeno's and Ground Round. I took my truck there to get some work done, and they replaced everything but what I wanted them to, and charged me alot for it.
