So Ive accumulated a large amount of change, is there anyplace here in Rolla that has one of those fancy little machines that will take it and count it, then give me some sort of payment in something I can use?
I considered just bringing it next time I go grocery shopping, and going through the little self-checkouts, but then I remembered they put a little time limit on those machines so you cant do that in a reasonably timely manner, I think they will only take like 1 coin every 3 or 4 seconds... 6000 pennies... you do the math...
So anyways... Anyone know of anywhere that will do it? (or a bank that will do it for sure without having an account there?)
Go buy something you need at Wal-Mart in one of the Self-Check outs... Might want to warn the person behind you...

ok, so find a friend that has a local account, have them deposit it, and then just make a withdrawl of the same amount a few days later.....or write you a check, or something like that.

They won't charge 15% on 1 cent, so just get 1 receipt per penny and you can collet the whole amount.

The bank I have at home where I have my savings account will let me just take in a box of coins. I hear them dump it into something that sounds like it has a fun little rapidly rotating wheel. Soon after they come back to me with a little reciept. I can cash it(actually deposit and withdrawl simultaneously I think) or deposit it.
