Anyone know of any tire places in town? Somehow, I have a hole in 3 of my tires. I don't want to goto Wal-Mart or Plaza Tire Center (or whatever the one with the green in their logo).

O yeah, post 500.

What've you got against Plaza Tire? That's who I was going to recommend.

Sam's Tires or whatever they are called.
They probably have the best service in town.

Plaza tire is a ripoff, Firestone employs incompetent (or maybe lazy) high school students.

Plaza Tire blows. I used to go to a tire shop in my hometown that didn't fuckup your valve stems so the didn't have to charge you 12x as much as one costs, and they didn't charge to dispose of your tires, or if they did, it was in the price they told you upfront. If they told you $75 a tire, it would cost $300 for 4 fucking tires mounted and balanced. Not $75 for a tire, $2.50 for a measly fucking valve stem, $2.00 to get rid of a tire... I liked the valve stems I had you stupid douchebag... Man, don't get me started on tire places...

I've had two flats while living in Rolla and both times I dropped the tire off at Plaza to be patched. I agree it was a bit pricey, but it held and was done fast. My experience with them has been pleasant, but they haven't worked on my car itself, just wheels I've dropped off. When I need new tires there is a shop back home I'd go to for that.

I'm pretty sure the $2.00 disposal fee applies everywhere you go. At least in my experience.

$.89 at Walmart. I wouldn't reccomend going there unless you have to though. What pissed me off the most, is I specifically said, is that total, that the douche said oh yeah, but instead, it was like $20 off and I BARELY had enough money to cover it. I am talking change. I guess I was just nieve, I had never went anywhere but my hometown tire place, and like I said, they tell you how much, and that is it. I wasn't expecting it to be like my cell phone where there is half a dozen extra charges and when they tell me how much it will cost, it is totally different than the actual price.
