Is anyone else as tired of sitting around and not doing much as I am? I finally get unhooked from WoW and other games, and the weather becomes nice and clear. With that in mind, I'm sure alot of other people would like to get out and play some random games like football, soccer, and a buncha other random ones.

So with that in mind, I'd like to get a buncha people together to go play some of those games or whatever anyone feels like on random days. I'm thinking people should just show up at 4 pm at the MultiUseless fields at 4pm (starting this Weds). We can play whatever games people that show up feel like at the time - and change games and teams whenever people show up. Maybe there will even be enough people to start different games up at once - I'd hope there are alot of people that like playing these games with random people just for the joy of playing.

You don't have to be any good to come and join us - just show up with as many people as you can grab. I'm hoping that alot of people will show up and we could just play for as long as people have an interest in the game. Then we can do it again the next day - weather and people permitting. So just show up at 4pm on the field next to that shed at the multi fields on clear days; starting this weds and bringing as many friends as you can.

Post and tell me what you guys think - and I'll repost this weekend to tell everyone how its turning out.

i got a glove and wouldnt mind throwing around a baseball and maybe getting some organized games together but that would require 16ish people to have a good game

Sounds good - i know others like to play. I think we should start out with games that we can have lesser amounts of people that dont need anthing more then a ball, and then once we get more and more people coming out we could say "hey, bring a mit on friday for some baseball" etc.

Unfortunately I don't have a mitt here, and I don't have a whole lot of time, but go ahead and put me on the list, and I'll see if I can't make it sometime.

I'm up for getting out of this house, to bad I have a Final today at 4pm for my 10 week class...and then its time to install my short throw shifter WOOHOO!

Ya just show up tomarrow...or the day after, or the day after that. Hopefully we'll get alot of people to just show up and hang around for a while every day. Just come as you can - hopefully the great weather today will continue for a while.

As for the equipment etc... Hell I don't have anything beyond a football, a frisbee, and my roommate has a soccer ball (maybe a bat and mit somewhere but...). So just bring yourselves and some friends every day you can.

I'll bump it again - show up today and lets have some fun.

Why didn't anyone show up? A few of my friends and I were there at 4pm as the bell was toning, but noone showed up for the next 30ish min so we got bored of throwing the football around with the few of us. Maybe this saturday at 4pm everyone will show up? Lets try some 2 hand touch football then, and maybe soccer next week, kickball after that, or something that works. If you show up for a game other people like, then theyll show up for yours... I know you can break away from farming gold in WoW and EQ to do some of that so comon!

Yeah, weekdays are generally really bad for me, for a couple reasons. The first is that I already have an established lifting/racquetball schedule that usually overlaps past 4 already. The second is that meetings or other things come up that I have to do (that was the case today). Third is that I usually eat between 4:30 and 5.

If we establish a time on Saturday's I'll be there. But not this Saturday, cause it's Block Party. Ugggghhhh, maybe I can skip out of there early.
