Assuming you have nothing illegal, you might want to have the police come and do a sniff around with a drug dog. You don't want the police accidentally finding something later on (wrong address warrant, pissed ex with restraining order, etc.) and you getting charged for it.

Just tell them why you're worried, and ask if they can do that just in case.

Just make sure you and your roommate don't have anything illegal, first.
