does anyone know how to rearrange the order in which windows will open the programs on startup, in msconfig you can only enable or disable which programs are opened, yet not which programs run first.
i use microsoft activesync to sync my pda to my laptop using bluetooth. but activesync loads before my bluetooth program loads and creates the COM ports for activesync to use for bluetooth syncing.
so anyone know how i can make iwindows load activesync AFTER the bluetooth program?
You can fangle with dependencies in the registry here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\<Service name> or maybe you can remove the program you want to load last from msconfig, and place it in your start menu's startup folder.
