Post subject: No StuCo Free Day, 5 days off for thanksgiving

Anyone know why it's going down this way this semester?...not that I'm complaining. I mean, I liked the story behind the stuco free day, but I'd much rather have the 5 days off for thanksgiving and have more of the same time off as all of my friends back home.

I talked to someone who said that STUCO free day was moved this year to the monday of thanksgiving week as a way to force the university's hand into giving us a full week off. If it's true, good work to those manipulative people...if not, thanks anyways UMR.

they would probably just make us have class on tuesday. and i have to admit, it would be kinda funny.
