I'm building a new computer:

C2D E6400
2x1GB Corsair XMS DDR2 675
MSI P965 neo-f motherboard...

And I'm hearing many problems with all kinds of memory and all kinds of motherboards and I can't find out for sure if the Corsair will/won't work on the MSI motherboard.

I was wondering if anyone knew if anywhere in Rolla (staples, etc) would have DDR2 at least 533MHz?

Staples does online, but I was curious because if I was having memory problems I was wanting to have a backup where I could buy some 1.8V RAM and get the system to boot and set the Voltage on the RAM to 1.9V (what the corsair is) in the bios, put the original RAM back in, and reboot (as I"ve heard some boards default to 1.8V and the Corsair is 1.9V and may/may not boot at 1.8V - so some people will get a cheap stick just to boot it and then swap the old back in)...

Go here http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/configurator_search.html to get the list of all the memory sticks that are compatible with your mobo.

Nah, staples is pretty much your only hope for pc parts.

Staples sells it, but it's not cheap. A 512 stick costs $60, 1Gig is $140-ish.

Thats the first place I checked. It lists it as compatible, but there's nothing to prove they've actually tested it on their systems.

It appears its just RAM that, from what I can tell, *should* work, and we all know ow that is...

But yes, it theoretically *should* work, I was just wanting confirmation.

I don't really care about cost since I'd be taking it back an hour later anyway...
