Is anyone else having problems with Fidelity? Random sites that shouldn't be down are. I can't get to Google or Wikipedia, if I ssh into gpunix, I can use Lynx, and they work fine, but who wants to use a text browser?
I don't know if it's Fidelity, or our router, but I just bought a Netgear wireless router to replace our piece of shit Linksys router, and am worried I might've just replaced a piece of shit with another piece of shit (fwiw, Google and Wiki worked after I hooked up the Netgear). Rebooting the modem and router did nothing, and I'm just curious to know if anyone else has trouble. I'd just like to know, so I know if the router needs to go back to Staples, or if it's a Fidelity problem. Either way, I'm seriously considering EVDO at this point because I'm sick of both Fidelity and crappy routers.
Damnit, yeah, I actually am having problems this time. Like you, I can't get to google or Wikipedia, and a lot of pictures aren't showing up on sites. I have the shitty Linksys router though. Eh, who knows.

Alright, glad to hear, at least it's not my router. I guess something's up with their DNS servers. I tried a VPN connection into UMR, thinking I could get to those sites, but apparentely not.....

not for me...
i thought it was someone in the house hogging bandwidth, but seek and minermail went lightning fast which generally isnt the case....hrm very interesting.
Still down for us. For a while it was like a bandwidth drain, but only browsing was slow. AIM/MSN/IRC worked at normal speed. Now the only way I can get anything at all is by VPN, though apparently I can get the seek IRC server without problems, and Azureus still works, no idea why.

Does anyone else have cable through them? Cause with our fidelity cable, every single HD channel, like starz and whatever, cut out every 2 minutes with some serious artifacting. Regular channels don't seem to usually have this problem.
