I am looking for an Idea of what to buy for a good KVM switch, I actually only need something that will switch a wireless USB mouse and a PS/2 keyboard, since my monitor already has dual inputs.

Do they even have anything out there that will do just the mouse and keyboard, I've never had 2 systems like this, but I really don't want two keyboards and 2 mice on my desk.

Any suggestions?

I use a USB Apple keyboard that has a USB hub on the back which I plug my mouse into. I plan on getting a cheap $10 USB mechanical switch on eBay. Nothing fancy to power the device off and back on, just something to switch the physical lines.

you can get a decent 2 port KVM for about 20 bucks on newegg or ebay, i suggest stayying away from the no-name brands, it wnt last long, I suggest buying a Belkin, it will last for years.

My only advice is not using a KVM with a Wireless Keybaord mouse Combo. Most try to combine them into one USB connection and as such the computer and KVM get really confused. If you're doing that, get a USB switch.
