I keep hearing about a senate debate tomorrow between Jim and Claire but am having the hardest time figuring out what channel/time it is on. Does anyone know?

the two candidates will also debate on September 15th at Lake Ozark for the Missouri Press Association's Candidate's Forum, but I don't know if this will actually be televised. There will be a senate debate between the two on Wednesday, September 20, at 8 pm. I'm not certain what channel it will be on, but there will be a watching party either at the Democratic HQ here in Rolla or perhaps on campus. Also, They'll also debate on October 8th in Washington, D.C. on NBC's "Meet the Press", and on October 16th in Springfield for a debate hosted by KYTV Channel 3 (NBC), Ozarks Public Television, KSMU 91.1 FM and the Springfield News-Leader.

McCaskill and Talent Agree on Fourth Debate
October 11th St. Louis Debate Will Be Hosted by Clayton Chamber of Commerce
ST. LOUIS – U.S. Senate Candidate Claire McCaskill and U.S. Senator Jim Talent have accepted their fourth debate today, which will be held on October 11th at 8:00 P.M. at Clayton High School in St. Louis.
The debate will be hosted by the Clayton Chamber of Commerce and will be broadcast live on local television by KSDK Channel 5 (NBC) and also on radio by KWMU 90.7 FM.
“I’m pleased that we’ve agreed on this debate in St. Louis. I believe that it’s important for Missourians throughout the state to know where we stand on the issues and each debate gives us that opportunity. I look forward to showing voters that they have a clear choice to make in this race and that I’ll be a Senator on their side,” McCaskill said.
“I am looking forward to discussing my record of working to expand health care access for the uninsured, keeping methamphetamine out of our neighborhoods and helping fight diseases like breast cancer and sickle cell,” said Senator Talent. “Elections are about choices and the debates are another opportunity to discuss these issues and differences.”
The two candidates will also debate on September 15th at Lake Ozark for the Missouri Press Association’s Candidate’s Forum, on October 8th in Washington, D.C. on NBC’s “Meet the Press”, and on October 16th in Springfield for a debate hosted by KYTV Channel 3 (NBC), Ozarks Public Television, KSMU 91.1 FM and the Springfield News-Leader.

She also supports wiretapping, so I personally would vote for her to be publicly fucked right in the ear.
im voting for talent myself. cant stand claire. i even chose blunt (not that i voted then but still) over claire. now if Attorney Gen. Jay Nixon runs in 08 vs blunt, ill have to vote blunt down, but i hate claire.
plus, jim talent is a really good guy. hes a fair person, and a good senator.

I'm not big on republicans, but Jim Talent isn't a bad guy. Claire is being actively supported by Hillary Clinton, and that's enough reason to hate her guts. She's been involved in plenty of scandals and has told lots of lies, even before this campaign started. I can't find any dirt on Talent. I'm a libertarian, and I'm thinking of voting for Talent instead of the LP guy (about whom I know nothing).
As for Nixon... he has refused to do his job in Missouri. Several court orderes were required for him to do parts of his job, and I know this because I know the people who have been filing them. Nixon is not one to let his job stand in the way of partisan politics.

hmmm... interesting -> didn't know that about nixon. from most of what i've heard hes done a bunch of good stuff for the ppl of missouri - eg the state's no call program, going after a bunch of companies that were defrauding missouri consumers/gov't, and some enviromental stuff - hes gotten several million for the mo gov't.
what's some of his duties that he didn't perform?
*note: not a challenge/flame i just hadn't heard of this before
