I'm trying to make a wallpaper for a motorola v557, and i know the demensions need to be 176x220 so I made an immage that is 176x218 and it keeps telling me that the image is too big to open. I'm using photoshop to make the image.

When you save you can change the quality of the pic and it will shrink or increase the size.

Save as a filetype that is compressed a bit. BMP is not good. PNG is pretty good, as is GIF.

save it as a .tif, and give it a shot
