Do you guys have a particular type of electric razor you prefer? I am thinking of purchasing one, but am hesitant since I have had poor luck in the past. I am curios of which to try, or which to stay away from.

Personally I still trim my pubes with a straight razor.

Oh wait, do you mean for your face?

I've formerly used norelco, which were Ok, but not exactly a great shave. Currently I'm using the Braun system that self cleans. Its not too bad, does a better job than the norelcos, but still not exactly razor quality.

I use a Remington self-cleaning system, and it works really well. It's extremely loud though, almost like a weedeater.

I use the Gillette Quatro thing. Its not automatic but it has 5 blades haha. It, amazingly, gives an awesome shave.

Heh, within a day or so of when I turned 18, I got 7 razors in the mail. :P I haven't bought a new one yet, mostly because I don't shave often, and haven't needed it. Kinda funny. :P

Since I have to shave fairly often, I actually believe that price isn't a deciding factor. Paying $16 for a box of blades is worth it when the alternative is bad irritation and cuts. I just upgraded to the fusion (the 5+1 blade thing)... I was very surprised at its improvement over the m3. I never liked Schick... every blade I've tried of their's was incredibly irritating. I'm not sure if they're still doing it, but walmart was selling the Fusion+gel+2 blades for like $8. Pretty good deal to try it out.
