Has anyone ever had any luck getting the LDAP directory setup in Thunderbird? I'm off campus too, so if VPN is required, I won't even bother, but if I can get that working, that would be good. Thanks

I don't know about the whole VPN situation but heres the settings I use for on campus.

Hostname: minerldap.umr.edu
Base DN: OU=Students,OU=Accounts,DC=umr,DC=edu
Port number: 389
Bind DN: joeminer@umr.edu
