Shrestha will babble about philosophy for 20-30 minutes each day of class before actually getting around to the material. His examples are usually trivial and rushed. The homework is more complex than his samples, but "helpful guides" exist to help with that. Be sure to actually learn the material though and use the "guides" as an aid, don't just copy them.
Wu will expect you to have memorized everything he says the first time he said it. If you don't, he looks at you like you're an idiot. His tests might seem complicated while you're taking them. Later when he shows you the solution 1/2 the class will moan and groan when they see the one real simple trick that makes the problem easy.
I had Wu circuit II and shrestha for circuits I. Which one is for you just may depend on your class style preferences. As odd as it sounds you might learn more from shrestha if he runs the class like he did circuits I. But you'll end up having to deal with him being him. Wu will write 6 variable complex algebra on the board as fast as humanly possible then finish and say "Yes, No?". At that point you'll have no clue what happened and watch the rest of the class feel the same way. The test will come and everyone will get less than a 50% Wu will laugh at you and then curve it so people who got more than a 25% get a C. On the plus side Wu doesn't take attendance, and has less homework.
I think the biggest problem with EE153 is the darn book. It is by far one of the most useless textbooks I've had the displeasure of using thus far at UMR.

If you had Shrestha for Circuits I, I'd prolly go with Wu for Circuits II because the first month and a half is just a refresher in circuits I and complex numbers.
As for the book, it wasn't as worthless as the Microecon book.
