It's really that simple. However, the Residence Life community will have you believe that you need to have 50 hours before you can leave. Just don't sign the housing contract, and they can't force you to be there.

I guess you mean the requirements to not have to live in the dorms? The main options are to have 60+ credit hours, be 21, or live with family around here.
As far as actually moving out is concerned, if you really want out you can pack your shit and go at any time. I'm sure the university will get their panties in a twist if you don't meet the above requirements and want to continue to study here. Don't plan on getting any money back either.

Yeah, I've looked into it too. You need 50 UMR hours or 60 total hours (UMR, transfer, AP, etc.). Also with the waiver you need to be involved in two campus sponsered groups for two semesters each and continue involvement in the groups.
