If anybody knows of a free beer that might be had within walking distance of campus, post it here.

Not sure who might be doing this, but I'm sure somebody somewhere has got to be generous enough to give a passerby a beer and hang out for a few minutes. I'd love to stop by and say "hi, and thanks for the beer!"

Why would anybody do that?

I heard the frat across from Chi O was trying to give passerby beer, and discouraging attendance....

EDIT:: The guys who always have the sign that says:

I have some silver bullets from last novermber still in my fridge if you want some old and free beer

i dont know about free beer, but i was over there(pi kapps) this morning...good times
and by the way, the sign says "honk for st. pats" that must have been an old sign

11th street (West or taco bell side if you will) we got everyone hangin out, dont know if you could get free beer, maybe if you do some sweet talkin

Give it to your local jacket rep. They've got a use for it.

We had complaints about the 'you honk, we drink' sign last year and that's the reason for the change.

And no....there's no free beer here

It is the Pi Kappa Phi house, and it has been established that they don't have any free beer. Stingy a-holes....

I have a few 40 ounce glass bottles of Steel Reserve. They've gotten warm a few times, and were even frozen once in a failed (e.g. forgotten) attempt to cool them down. I'll gladly give you one for free...assuming you will accept "high gravity lager" as a form of beer.

11th street will be out and about this evening, still dunno about free booze but its fun none the less. some chicks were walkin around yesterday with a beer bong asking if anyone wanted a hit
