I just realized that releasing it next Monday is kind of sneaky - we'll all be on Spring break, so they're probably hoping that it passes over by the time we get back.

Yes it is.
When will the change actually take place? I graduate in May 08, and want my degree to say UMR, not whatever retarded new name they choose.

It works PERRRRRRRFECTLY. Yeah, and to anyone who wasn't expecting this, I only wish I could be that naive....
I have heard two RUMORS. One, is that the name change will NOT take place until EVERYTHING is in place, and it can be like "You go to bed at UMR, and then WHAM, you wake up at MOUSE." And then I heard that it will start virtually immediately in chunks...
Anyone hear what the "Independent Evaluation" cost? Goff told me it would be available, but that he didn't know yet (I have difficulty believing that...)

Why not outlaw MURDER instead of trying to outlaw guns?
More like UMR: different name, same degree, no difference.
It's not the same degree when employers, who are very familiar with UMR and hire grads all the time, ask "What the hell is [insert name of new school]?" and toss the resume in the trash.
