There will be changes to the site and how regular users interact with Seek42. I'm not sure how long it will take, but it is coming. I have not and will not respond to emails/posts regarding that the database is disconnected, which is an intentional situation. The changes will be swift and will pass without question. People who do question it will be punished without possibility of forgiveness or retribution.

I don't mean to be overly harsh, but we're trying to keep this thing going and AJ and I hope that you trust us enough to stay behind it.

P.S. Anyone who asks me about off-campus access to Seek will also be swiftly punished.

By off campus access, do you mean no happiness and rainbows (which is cool), or no forums?

Forums are easy to manage off campus, which then gives us the control of our own LAN and computers on it, so I would pretty much guarantee that the seek42 forums will exist indefinitely as long as there are people willing to keep the domain/server up and running somewhere.

They've clearly become their own legacy and pretty much not at risk as far as I understand, but if we've learned anything it's that things change.
