you arent allowed to use that logo, doubt you will get in trouble but editing the joe miner in any fashion is not in the allowed usage rights of the logo.

Is this the replacement for WANG? Cause if it isn't, I'll wait for it. WANG was much more reasonable with $5, I am not going to pay $15-$20 unless food is provided the entire time for no additional charge (all three days).

If it is the replacement for WANG, then I am sorry to see it go. Have fun guys.

Emphasis mine. And yes, this is the new name for WANG... we had a hard time getting anyone to sponsor us with the wang name :(

What other games do people usually play? I don't play counter strike and I am terrible at warsow but I would be interested in TF2 and Company of Heroes even if it is just casual. Also wouldn't mind taking the time to shred through co-op with someone on guitar hero 3 (because I am lame and have no friends to play with).

If I'm there I'm going to be ripping faces off in TF2 for sure. It's pretty much the only game I play now

Would it be possible to get a games list for this? For once in my life it's looking like it's a possibility that I'll be going, and I'd rather not make a fool of myself.

The way we're working this is as follows:

We have 2 tournament games: Warsow and CS:S. We will be providing dedicated servers to run the tournaments on as well as a few for pub games.

When people register, they can write in the comment box what games they want to play at the lan. We will make dedicated servers for 2-5 other games based on your votes. So tell us what you want to see at this lan and we'll do our best to provide them.

So for a games list, the Warsow pub servers will mostlikely be 8v8 clan arena, 8v8 iCTF or iTDM, and a 12 player FFA or 16 player race. If you want to see any custom maps or specific gametypes, let me know.

CS:S isn't that flexible, unless you have mods. Just ask heretic what he's planning.

You will also be able to host any game you want, so if you want to play something oldskool or obscure (duke nukem 3d, soldat, etc) you can.

You could post the games you want to play on this thread and see how many you can get to join you. To start off, here's what I'd be interested in playing in order of preference (when not admining):

1. Warsow (any game type, but I prefer duel, iTDM, or racing/tricking)
2. Starcraft (only 1v1 or teams, no UMS maps unless they're maps using side balancing)
3. Warcraft 3 (see above, definitely not DOTA)
4. any Serious Sam series game (only for coop)
5. any Quake series game (quake 4 preferred) (1v1, ffa, or coop)

What is the console situation? Some big halo3 games would be fun. As far as PC games, I will play any RTS.

CnC3
WC3
etc.

We got 3 out of 5 rooms around the big e-man lecture hall. I think they all have built in projectors (good if you have VGA connectors at least). We're not sure how we're going to divvy the rooms up for sure, but one of them will probably be dedicated to consoles.

I'm registered, yay.

Games:

Warsow
Quake 3 CPMA
Quake 4
Quakeworld
Tribes
UT3

In all honesty though, probably just warsow and q3/4.
