I get great deals all the time by keeping a eye out and checking deal sites daily but I'm interested in hearing what kind of deals you guys have gotten?
Some of my highlights were buying broken (unopened) Xbox 360's off ebay just before MS extended the warranty to 3 years. So i snagged 3 extra ones for around 450 bucks. Selling them off or giving them away to family after i got them fixed.
JUST TODAY I saw someone selling 17,000 microsoft points for $100 on RollaNet. He said that they expire in June 2008, not knowing that the redemption code and not the actual points were what expired. I told him I'd take them for $90 since they expire He accepted!!! I'm not really sure how much 17,000 points go for... but i know i paid 20 bucks for 1,600 on launch.
What kind of deals have you guys gotten?
After Colossians3's story about the HD-dvd drives I'm really interested in what you guys have found

Oh man, I could write all day in a thread like this!
Here are a few of my recent hot deals:
- Achieving eBay Powerseller status by selling Wiis (tax-free from Amazon), Rock Band, Guitar Hero bundles, and Dell coupon codes.
- Buying multiple HD DVD players for $100, selling the UPCs for $40 each, then later selling the players (after much use) for $120 each.
- (Previously mentioned.) Buying four HD DVD players from Amazon (each with 10 HD DVDs), selling the players and disks separate for a profit, then receiving a $50 Amazon gift card for each one I bought. I then got a brand new Canon Rebel XT with lens for $240 with free two-day shipping.
- One year of Amazon Prime (free two-day shipping, $3.99 overnight shipping) for $16.
- Using a $20 off coupon code and 10% cash back dealio to get about $400 in StubHub gift certificates for ~$50.
- And, of course, getting cheap/free stuff from windowsmobiletraining.com, Intel Retail Edge, or Microsoft ExpertZone and either reselling the hell out of it or returning it to Wal-Mart.

Oh man, back before they were cracking down on making multiple accounts for the $10 off $10 Google Checkout promo I got about 80 shipments of stuff from Shop4Tech.com.
Also, when someone found a way to generate $25 off $25 Dell coupons, I got about 30 shipments from them (360 games for $5 and whatnot). And like I said, when I had too many coupons to use, I sold the rest on eBay and became a PowerSeller.

Dickass--you just wanted to scalp my Wii! ...It's all right though, man's gotta make a buck.
Perhaps, but you needed money quick and I needed money in the long run, so we both would have benefited. Anyway, I would have played with it a bit before selling it.

I was begging for a purchase ID to generate the coupons, but no one would give me one
Some deals I've landed: 2x 750gb external drives for $55 each (same as chank/blitz) 24" Soyo LCD, $255 (Had to pull some trickery with the Officemax checkout to stack coupons) ~100 copies of Forza 2 & Fuzion Frenzy 2 for free (playing in a contest) -8 Xbox 360's & roughly $500 in accessories with each Xbox for free (playing in a contest) ~300,000 Xbox Live points for free (playing in a contest) ~10,000 Itunes song codes for free (survey) -42" 1080p Vizio lcd for $755 (recertified, but w/e, it's a freakin sweet tv) -Got $400 in FYE giftcards off of $5 out of pocket... they got cancelled 3 days later... I so wish I had spent them before then They did give me inspiration to win the 8 xbox's though so it's an even tradeoff I suppose
I've been busy selling off all of the xbox stuff, so I haven't been checking SD much at all... I've started up the freebie deals site stuff though, should be getting GTAIV when it comes out, then I'll be cashing in on the rest.
