wow. this is bullshit, i can see letting him off of small charges, but resisting arrest, false report of a bomb threat, terrorist threats, and first degree assault of a law enforcement officer are all pretty serious offenses. he shut down a college university for a whole day, caused the swat team and several different types of terror teams to be called out, cost the government a lot of money, and may or may not have assaulted an officer (i cant find out if he did or not). he should do serious time.

That's how the new and improved political correctness system works. If it wasn't an international student, they'd be doing hard time with no one begging for release. I don't care if he gets released, as long he goes right back where he came from so he can see his family and we don't have to worry about him anymore because anyone that gets 2 Bs is not going to survive America at all.

and he's been held in the jail for 14 months now.. so, he's probably served the term he would have been handed already.

Which is much cozier than, say, state penitentiary....and I would presume, also federal prison. Though he must have gotten very tired of the townies in the drunk tank on the weekends.

I am glad my parents are okay with C average. I would have gone fucking crazy had i needed to keep a 4.0

Also, I imagine that if one of us were to go crazy and call in a bomb threat we would be treated basically the same. Anybody ever have one called in high school. Back home they generally spent a few months away, maybe had a fine, and that was about it. Granted that was for children around the age of 18, but i dont see him getting off easy.

The getting a B on finals is old news. I thought that came out before. Why did he wait until 2/27 since grades come out in December?

Also, I would like to start a petition, saying that just because you are stressed out doesn't mean you should get away with bomb threats.

Would anyone like to sign it. I like to think if we could get 1700 registered Missouri voters, that would play stronger than 1700 people in the US on student visas.

I am on a student visa and I didn't sign the petition... And I also agree on the part that he shouldn't be allowed to walk away as a freeman. Snapping for such a small reason is dumb.

Although he may be a total pussy, I don't really care what happens to him. There are worse things in life than debt and B grades.

Then again, it's not like he did anything serious. At worst, the Rolla Counter-Terrorist Squad (or whatever it's called) got some unexpected practice and got to play with their shiny new toys.
