What does the campus get like during the presidential election? Is everyone just as politically apathetic as usual or do things heat up a bit?

I don't believe that is begging the question. The political mood on campus is rather apathetic all the time. Seeing this as a given fact, it is not being used to "load" the question.

I remember tables being set up by the puck to get people to register to vote (and convince people to convert to a particular party if the person's mind was that feeble). Of course, that's when the center of campus was still basically the puck... I think there were a couple representatives that visited campus to make speeches and promote candidates. Otherwise, not too eventful as I recall...

The Young Republicans were a bit more active. That's about it.

That's why I predict even less this year. The only thing I saw last time was "Vote ____" chalked on a few sidewalks but that's it.

How is that different from any other year?

This year, I expect it to be all "Vote Obama." The democrats have their candidate, and they have the republican candidate too. For as well as McCain did in the primaries, there don't seem to be many republicans who like him. I sure wouldn't bother writing his name on the sidewalk.

Yeah I definitely would have rather had a Romney. Imagine...a fiscal conservative! Will it ever happen again??

I haven't been following for the last week or so, since I've been out of town and catching up on moving and crap...has Hillary all but conceded yet or is she still fighting tooth and nail? Every media outlet I turn to seems to have crowned Obama but I'm not sure how official it is.
