so, I get to take stat 343 this fall... wondering how close to 217 it is. Anyone take it before?

It is hard, but definetly doable. I think you prove a little more stuff than the other stat classes. Also, it is a lot to do with generating functions. Good luck.

343 is a weird one - it's a Prob/Stats class just like 217. It has no stats prereq but I was recommended to take 217 first.

That's why I wondered if it overlaps.

I'm gonna have Dr. Akim who seems pretty cool, and it's gonna be in G5 like half of the classes I've ever taken. Fun.
