I saw posters up around campus with SUB or someone advertising a St. Louis Import show, with a bunch of bands from st louis coming down to play. I checked around today and they were gone. Anyone have any more info on that?

Never heard of any of those bands. From what I've heard in STL, there's not much talent.

I think 311 is a crappy band and would rather pay to see the import show?
qualifying music tastes is subjective, there is no right or wrong answer

while that is true. There are certain factors that are objective like how long the band has been around, staying true to style and fan base, not selling out, putting on crazy concerts (311 day). You have full right to not like a bands music that dosent make them crappy.

That and I am in the mood to pick a fight

Check out their MySpace sites. I didn't think they'd be worth anything either, but I'm very impressed. It's gonna be worth it I believe. I'm am now a major fan of both of them. Don't knock it till you listen of you're just guessin... and missin out

And the cost is only $2 if you get tickets early at the Leach Theatre Box or from a SUB Concert Committee Member
