I need a blu-drive out of a PS3. Doesn't need to be in working order.

I just ordered a 50mW Green laser pointer. Yay for being 10 times more powerful than allowed my US law. (I believe)

I really wanted to build one of those burning Laser pointers but I just can't bring myself to have something that can so easily hurt someone by accident.

Unless you force someones eye to stay open, it won't cause permanent damage after a quarter second of accidental eye exposure. Also, they don't instantly light things on fire or burn people. You have to hold it on a single spot for a few seconds to do anything.

Does the HD-DVD drive use a blue laser or is it still a longer wavelength red one? I don't think any optical drives have used a green but i could be wrong.
