i was wondering from any rock climbers what they did to strengthen their hands and possibly arms since ive seen/met some in the past but didnt ask then. the reason being that a group of friends want to go rock climbing and id like to not be the only one unable to keep up. also any ideas on possibly a strength enhancing suit or elastic restricting suit? the thought being the restricting suit or arm rig maybe, would cause a great deal of tension that the wearer would have to fight against in order to move at all therefore the user would get stronger operating normally everyday. the strength enhancing would do just that add strength to the wear, i was thinking maybe something mechanical or hydraulic but it would need to be fairly thin in order to not have a bulky suit. just an idea i had wondering in my head. would be nice for either. as far as being practical not sure. if they exist already that would be nice and probably simpler or if someone thats probably a genius could end up drawing one up real quick id appreciate it. anyway thanks for any help. mostly looking for the first part being answered.
Boulder. Do it a lot. You'll use a variety of holds and lots of different techniques. Fingerboards are a great way to build upper body strength and finger strength.

Finger pull-ups, strengthen your arms, strengthen your fingers, and look manly as all get up.
I'm actually at least 75% serious. I was bored one day and wanted to see if I could, started with 3 fingers (per hand), then tried 2 fingers (per hand). Haven't been able to do one finger, but I suppose it's possible.
