LOL at yourself. You don't need to have someone fired to get a wrong righted. If you fail to use the chain of command you only have yourself to blame.

To his credit, the chain of command in the Math Department is (or was, at least while I was there) broken. If you follow chain of command, you find that it is a loop, no ending, no real beginning. Everyone passes the buck until the problem "disappears." Goddamnit I hate that department.

I lol'd at this. It's called school for a reason. Sure, st pats is known for being a weekend that you'll likely forget, but you're not paying to get drunk. You're paying to go to school and learn, so suck it up and quit your bitching.

I've been here longer than you, bucko. I've taken my share of classes from asshole professors who won't admit they're in the wrong, and I've sure as shit heard many stories worse than yours. And you know the best part? They all had the same ending. Sure, some of them may have had to retake a class or two, I know I have, but the end result is always the same. The world keeps turning, life continues to suck, and we move on.

So go ahead and finish your little hissy fit, but when you're done, be sure to pull your tampon out. Maybe this whole ordeal will be a lesson to you. Maybe you'll realize that you should avoid certain professors. Maybe you're realize that sometimes life just deals you a shitty hand. For all we know, you may get a royal flush in the next round. Only time will tell. So you know what? Best of luck to you in future endeavors. Seriously. I really don't wish any more hardships on you, but I'm just trying to make it clear that sometimes you just have to put up with shit.

And if we want to start throwing a bitchfit about shitty departments. I'm a ChemE - I can also cite some way worse shit than what we all put up with in the math department. They've royally fucked me and many others plenty of times - learn to deal with it. If you can't learn to take some shit every once in a while you're in for a every rough life if you ever get a job. Better just drop out and get a union job right now. They'll pay you good, and give you a nice podium for any bitching you have.

Side-bar: Is Leach course coordinator for Calc 3? He wasn't when I took it, but when my brother took it, she was (Yes I got my gender usage correct). If so - is this tantrum because Leach is.... really strange?

Welcome to higher education. As you'll quickly find out, most of us have either graduated, or have been at UMR for too many years to count. We've all had to deal with classes that were as bad, or even worse. If you were looking for sympathy then you came to the wrong place. Take your lumps like the rest of us and maybe if you lay off the 420 and partying, you'll see your grades drastically improve.

Coming from a guy who is going through some weedouts and isn't as jaded (or assholish) as some in here. Well yea, go up the chain of command make your case and then shutthefuckup. You're going to get nowhere when your argument to get rid of Leach is she didn't give me 10 points.
