what is the best fraternity on campus? for my money its got to be SIGMA NU. i mean the guys are just so cool!

how about the best soririty on campus?
the sexiest sorirty?

i have a question... why are they called "pikes"? i mean, the are PI KAPPA alpha, but what about PI KAPPA phi? why can't THEY be the pikes, and pike could be pikA

what about sig ep? they aren't sigma epsilon, they are sigma PHI epsilon. they should be sig phi.

what about triangle and acacia? how come they don't have traditional greek letters? i know in many campuses they have FARMHOUSE... im sure they have a reason for it but im curious.

you whats a funny greek letter? UPSILON. say it (pronounced OOPSilon for you who do not know your greek letters) it just sounds funny

this guy in my phys class says PHI but he pronounces it "fee". isn't that weird?

dude, there is this guy in my house who graduated from the same highschool as me, but i graduated in 2001. he graduated in 1995. how crazy is that dude. he should graduate already.

ok im done

I'm sorry. I showed one of them where it is. Now it seems they all know where it is. Coincidence? Maybe so. Maybe we shouldn't have boring lab classes in CLCs so that we would have something more interesting to do besides show them how to run Seek42. Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut. Maybe I should stop typing.

Actually the interest began when the first Greek Vs. Dormie thread was started. Me and Eightlbdong got interested and this became just a normal thing. I'm glad to see other greek houses posting on here. Even though some of you may not agree.

I would be ashamed to be a Sigma Nu, your postings are horrid, absurd, and frankly, retarded. Really, you guys are idiots.

In the fall of 1906 sixteen civil engineering juniors at the University of Illinois began the association that became Triangle Fraternity. The name "Triangle" was chosen to represent the group, since a triangle is the strongest structure in Civil Engineering. To this day, Triangle has remained a fraternity of Engineers, Architects, and Scientists.

So, basically, we're a fraternity whose name has a meaning.

Yes, Greek letter fraternities decided to pick their letters because they look pretty on our shirts, for some they picked their letters at random. They don't mean anything. You're absolutely right bigfattitty... (sarcasm)

well, i've done a little research, and it turns out that ACACIA is an acronym for the mission of ACACIA Fraternity. they were founded in 1952 by 14 masonists in a school in Michigan (whose name escapes me now).

for any further reading, check out http://www.acacia.org

and now you know
