i dont get it

It's probably a reference to Res Hall Week (knock off on Greek week). Some Joy chick was one of the organizers. I guess 4 North, 6 North and the Quad were thankful.

There was a tie between 4N and 6N for first, and the breaker was a game of Volleyball. The dude who decided on the tiebreaker passed the responsibilities off to Joy, and she wasn't exactly pleased about it. I guess this was just a way for 4/6N to say thanks for her putting up with it...

The sign is sarcastic. She scheduled the tiebreaker game at 6 AM, ensuring that members of 4N and 6N would be ticked off (that's really way too early to get up and go play volleyball) and people who live at the Quad would be ticked off too (the game ended up making plenty of noise, and once again - that's too damned early). Kip (and I'm sure everyone in this forum will feel his pain) came out and bitched at the people playing volleyball since the court doesn't technically open until 8 or so, and appearantly police were called there at one point, probably over the noise.

So who ended up winning?

damn you people who live in the dorms are reall adamant about your sleep. i can recall at least two occasions when i was waken up at the middle of the night to one of the old fucks climbing under where my bed is with a beer "neal! get up! what time is it? it's miller time!"

i just went back to sleep.

Something that I can't argue with is how uptight the people in the dorms are sometimes. I guess to some people being woken is some sort of crisis.

Hey, can i auction off my room mate, im sure you all want her... the wonderful, ever so nice Joy. That banner is still sitting on our bunk beds, i figured she would have thrown it away or something, but no she saved it...argh!!!... more trash in the room, go figure.

You'd probably have better luck at a cattle auction. I'd bid, but I fear my safety since I know you can't guarantee she's sterile and sanitized. Plus I have standards (that is, x > Joy). As far as the banner goes, I guess she appreciated it so much she had to take it to bed like everything else. We could probably get before/after pics of it and submit to Rotten.com.

Ive tried to auction her off several times already, but it hasnt worked. I dont think the pictures would help much in my quest to get rid of her, but for those of you that want them ive got a webcam. I can see it now "Joyless cam". ::shivers:: goddess that is a horrible thought, but ive seen far worse. I only have to put up with her for two more weeks... thats all...i feel sorry for all of those poor souls who will have her as an RA next year...OMG...another reason why we should all move out of the quad.

Although cattle auction would apply to quite a few people, I'd say Joy is quite low on that list (i.e. not on it). Maybe there's some personality thing I'm missing but that's pretty out of line there ex-voyager Dan (ass-tetix).
