How does a dedicated HL server need to be set up in order to be picked up by Gamescan? I've had one going at Null (131.151.188.83) for the past few days and Gamescan has still yet to list it.

You know, you could be really really kind and run it in insecure mode so those of us playing in linux don't get kicked :-)

oh, and after my begging, to answer your question.....

I believe you have to visit seek42 with the machine the server is running on for gamescan to pick it up. If it's a unix machine, you also have to have samba running. Care to comment Ryan?

I went to seek42 on that machine and did the op-in shortly after I got to TJ. It's a Win2K machine running the latest server binaries. The server is not in secure mode any more, btw.

Also, is there any way to fix incorrect DIPS entries?

Yah has anyone actually met the faggot living in 265 that runs the cs server? I started ownin his ass a little and then he banned me from his server and claimed that it was his buddy who was AFK(After he claimed it didn't happen). SO noone play on that gay ass server.
