What is up with the network and internet being all screwy today?
I can only access certian pages and they run extremely slow when I can acess them. I also can't even log onto the network for anything either. i.e. Counter-Strike.

I have no idea what you are talking about...It's going hella fast; I am getting blazing fast 3.5 k/sec downloads off of mIRC... B)

But in all seriousness, I really hope CIS isn't capping us again...:(

There has been a malfunction in the MoreNET Columbia core router. This is
currently causing internet access for UMR to be either unavailable or
unstable. MoreNET staff is working on the problem.

I can now get into some lan and internet games and most pages are working, just really really slow. I talked to people at UMKC and they were having the same problem... It may not be the network, but something is making the net run like crap now...

Sorry posted that and then read your reply. Thanks though. Nice to know it is MOREnet and not a bandwidth cap or just some LAN problems.

Rumor has it that Altheide told his networking class that it's a DoS attack. Keep in mind that this is a second-hand rumor, so there's no telling if it's true.

Yeah, it was a form of a DOS attack, on a comp up on TJ11s, fucked up a morenet router, it was reconfigured to ingore the attack
