As I'm sure many of you know the two towers is floating around on the net 4 whole months before it's release. This is a message to all of you 0-day warezlords on campus--DON'T FUCKING SHARE on seek, please. Last semester when this happened with episode2 it fucked the network up for a while. If you want to get your releases out then setup a private ftp or copy a cd for someone but for the love of God please don't post it in your public folders until enough people on campus hav e it to where it won't tear up the network.

Did I say it was on seek? Oh yeh, if you can actually read my previous quote "no one is sharing out a copy through smb on campus". Crap--use some fucking intelligence before you respond to a internet forum. As for Ryan--at least I don't ban people from seek who have more than a couple computers in their room and can come up with about 3 other ways to otherwise get around the usage. Or at least I don't steal a whole fucking engine of code and slap my name on it to say it's mine. yeah, i read your previous quote that said no one was sharing it out, and that's why i RESPONDED to it to tell you that i found a copy of it (or so i thought) on the network. i DID read your prevoius post, that is WHY i responded to it. fucking 'tard.

when i searched for "two towers" i found two video clips that looked like the two towers, they were about 700 meg files, and named (1 of 2) and (2 of 2). ALTHOUGH, these might not actually be the movie, they sure as hell aren't trailers.

later in teh night i searched for it again, and all i got were trailers, and they were not 700 meg files.


and to my understanding, the code that was used for this search engine goes by the name of "seek42" and that's where this site got its name. so in otherwords, no one stole anything or put their name on it. its named what its named. but that's just what i heard. from someone who probably didn't know better.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/seek42 shows Ryan as the sole admin/developer of the seek42 code. What makes you think he "stole" it from anyone else?
