Eagle did you learn last year that it is too hard to form an offical club around here and you should just be happy letting me shoot you in the back.

We didnt' really try to hard to get the official thing going, I don't think it would be too bad once we find the faculty advisor person

That is where the snag is, the dip$hit who is in charge of letting people form clubs thinks that paintball is too aggressive, and could be looked on as a terrorist group.

Well I was going to form a club, I know about 20 people from TJ who play paintball and was going to put up fliers to get more members. I was going to include any student who wanted to play. Last year I just got groups together and we went out and played at nearby fields and played some renegade pb on public lands.I have been to the indoor place a few times and I personally do not like that style of play because you waste too much paint close quarters and at some guy with a near full auto gun that players there all the time. I find that playing in a small dark indoor enviroment is not as fun as in the woods or an open air larger speedball place. There are a few places about an hour away that are good at letting us byop. The saftey concern by the board should be able to be explained away quite easily if one tried to make a good solid case for its safety rules and history of lack of serious injuries in the sport in comparison to say, football. Anyway other colleges have teams or clubs so I bet we could establish one also. Still if anyone wants to play please send me an email at eaglejm@yahoo.com I would like to get a sizable group together and go play somewhere other than the indoor place this saturday.

I hope everyone had a good time out at the 'Size Matters' field Sunday. We will be practicing again on Sunday the 29th. If anyone would like to join us for a little speedball action they are more than welcome to join us.
Also, FYI, Outerlimits (the paintball store and indoor field) will be open at:
Tuesday - Thuursday 1:00-6:00pm
Friday 5:00-10:00pm
Saturday 12:00-10:00pm
Sunday 1:00-6:00pm except on days that we practice ;)
