The UT 2003 demo is out as of about an hour ago! But, instead of waiting for an internet download, you can get it from one of the following computers:

agent007

heretic

If there are more copies of the demo on Seek, please post them here!

Happy fraggin!

Hey is anyone interested in making a map pack for UT 2003? I'm not particularly good with Ued, but I DO know how to get alot of stuff done (lifts, bot paths, etc)- I could probably get alot done with a good 3d mapper since UT 2003 geometry would be insane on Ued.

*rolls eyes*

What you have is a leaked beta. There is no "final copy" as Epic Games has not yet completed making the game. This demo was to gather user feedback about weapon/gametype/etc balance issues and to squash any remaining bugs players find that Epic may have missed. Get your facts straight next time; hardly anything is as annoying as people spreading FUD around as the truth.

A CTF or perhaps a Bombing Run map of TJ sounds awesome though. Anyone any good with UnrealED?

Hamo

I have no real clue how to use it, but I'd love to learn how.

I wonder where in TJ we would plant the Redeemer...:D

Yea, I used to be pretty good with it - though that was back when it was UT geometry. With the high standards set by UT 2K3, I'd really like to have some help in the form of someone skilled with a 3d modeling program. That way I could just import the 3d portion and focus on texturing, moving parts, lighting, etc.

Don't ya think TJ would make a boring map - it's all right angles and hallways and such.
