hey, i am getting a dvd burner in the mail... i've not been able to find any reviews on software out on the net and i'm curious if anyone on campus has one. I'm mainly burning movies into dvd format... i know the format of the vid must be mpeg-2 (my capture card does that for me) but i didn't know what software would be best for mastering it... i've got nero but still don'thave the drive (expecting it in a week) so i'm curious if anyone has any preferences or tips on software... the drive is a pioneer dvr-104 (same as the dvr-A04, just in a white box with diff software)... i'll be getting a copy of cyberlink powerdirector or whatever the name of their software is... thanks for anyone's response in advance... my e-mail is ermy78@umr.edu

Nero now has DVD-R,etc. capabilities. works really well.

Also, your burner should come with software.
