Pot limit on bets
winners from individual tables advance to the final table. Depending on the number the top 2 might advance from each table.
First place gets half of the entry fees, second and third get something as well, though I haven't heard the percentages so I don't know how much for sure. All of the buy ins go to prize money, none is kept by the people putting it on.

They usually play Texas Hold'em. I have no idea why we are playing 7 stud this time.
