Maybe it's not a bad idea that people would advertise what they're sharing out, and do it for a few days at a time. Maybe post "Hey, I'll be gone for the weekend, box will be up and running, download whatever you want of [insert something here]." If people know that certain machines are hosting stuff, it'll keep them off of the machines that are trying to play Dungeon Seige, or trying to keep up the 50 fps rate for Quake 3. If I were still on campus, I'd do it. :^P
