Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is pretty good so far. Reviews put it as an action game but I think its roughly based on the Star Wars d20 system.

Neverwinter Nights if you are looking for a game against the computer. And Everquest if you are looking for playing with others via the internet. However, Everquest will eat your soul.

Beat Everquest? The game I was talking about isnt really beatable perse. I think I beat it when I quit playing but other than that...Ohh and Morrowing is the best open ended adventure game ever. If you dont mind an open ended adventure it kicks ass.

Planescape Torment
Baldur's gate 1 and 2
Knights of the old republic (WTF is a "star wars d20 system" hah)
Morrowind
Neverwinter Nights
Icewind Dale
Fallout 1 and 2 (amazing games (not moreso in my opinion than the other games listed, but many other people seem to think so))

You may notice I have most of Black Isle's games. They are a great company. Play all of their stuff. Don't fuck with Everquest, FFXI, Ultima Online, or anyother of that online crap.

Dude, if you want to play Fallout (1 or 2) I suggest instead finding a Sega emulator and finding a rom file of the old game Shadowrun. THAT was the best game ever produced for Sega, hands down. And Shinning Force (1, 2 blew donkey) is a close-ass second.

As for EverQuest, ya, it eats your soul. Most games do. If you want a life -and- a game for PC, I recommend Neverwinter Nights. Just be sure to get both expansions. HotU owns!

If you can live without gee-whiz graphics I suggest Wizardry 6-8.

You could always beg FAK to share the Fire Emblem SNES roms he's got. They're all partially translated and such.
