Just wondering if anyone knows what the layout of the Co-op is in Ferrar, like how many bathrooms, if there are couches and TV's, a kitchen, or anything. I got asked to join one but just wanted to know the specifics and if there was any way I could tour one or look at one. Thanks for your input.

Its just like a normal floor in the Quad, only cut in the middle. There is half a full bathroom (2 shitters, 3 showers), a kitchen (size of one room made into a kitchen, and a living area (two rooms large). It comes with a refrigerator and a couch and chair, but thats about it. You have to provide the rest. Its an awesome deal and I would reccomend it to anyone. The only thing that sucks is the lack of air conditioning, make sure you have plenty of fans, there are units in the living area and kitchen that dont reach the bedrooms.

if you get the #04 room it is fine for air conditioner because all of the air from the living room goes into there

As far as I know, Farrar will still be around. They sent out some emails saying we'd need to send in a list of people that are staying or we lose the floor. First floor right side will be open next sem. as we are all leaving for better and cheaper places to live.

Altman is being shut down, gradually. They are letting some current residents stay on one floor, but they're not letting anybody new move in. They're planning to make it all offices and storage.

I think Ferrar will be open for at least the next 4 semesters. The only one I know that they are trying to close is Altman, and that will take a few semesters. They will most likely try to close most of the Quad over the next few years, because it is getting so old and they are trying to build another Res Hall up near the new residential college.

Hope everybody has fun living in that "residential college" atmosphere...sounds like it's kind of goofy and shitty. Makes me think of voyager for some reason....blah
