i've got a 256mb stick of pc2700 mushkin blue. you can't run it at pc2700 [333mhz] or it starts throwing errors, but it works fine at pc2100 speed [266mhz]. make an offer.

Why can't you run it at 2700? Doesn't that kind of RAM come with the spifty heat spreaders and everything? Is there something wrong with it? (Reason I ask is 'cause I'm interested, too!)
that's the ram i bought from Silent_Vixen that i thought just didn't work with what i already had.
got around to actually testing it more and it simply isn't stable at 333mhz. you can run it at that speed, but you risk bsod's. works flawlessly at 266mhz [at least...it survived 3 passes of memtest86 without a single error...at 333mhz it was anywhere from 20-200 errors per pass].
cliff notes:
i have 256mb of "pc2700," but you can only run it at pc2100.
and yes...it does have a spiffy blue heat spreader!
