Brit Lit 2 with Hammack is absolutely tight. Do the reading and you'll be fine. The tests are a pain but no problem...the bulk of the points in the class come from 2 projects. The first one took me an hour to complete, and I got an A.
She's nice, she won't bite but she won't put up with crap either. If you actually want to learn something but not have to stress, take Hammack.
I don't see it on your list but take Eng 75 (Brit Lit I) with Knight. You don't have to go to class. There are no notes, not homework, and no test. You have to give one 5 min informal presentation, and do 3 5 page paper (which combine into one paper) and he grades them real easy. Basiclly, I think, if you do it and it is 5 pages you get an A.

DO NOT take McRaven for any class.
Doty was really good for World Lit and highly recommend him.

Anyone have any suggestions on what 200-300 level lit class to take? I do not necessarily have to take one next semester, but any suggestions for a good easy class/teacher to finish out my minor? Btw, I have already taken every Knight class so rule those out.
dr. doty is awesome.. hes not too hard. take that one, if you have already taken Chaucer with Knight then you aren't going to find much easier, I dont even think he knows who we are in class this semseter.
I have Watts for English 278 - Literature and Film this semester, and I have to disagree with the post above that says he sucks. He doesn't like teaching lower level english courses and treats our small class (7 people) really well. Basically, we read books and watch movies. No quizzes, only discussion. Because its a small group, you need to keep up with the reading because the discussions suck without it. His tests are pretty easy, but they are essay tests. Overall, I really enjoy his class.

Does Wise (think that was his name, big bald dude) still teach? I had him back in 99 for 105 and that was pretty damn easy, quit going to class most days, and he only has 2 exams and no hw. And you can botch your 1st test and get an A on your 2nd and he'll just give you that grade. Or at least thats how I remember it.
Yeah I had Shulz for English 20... He was pretty cool. He had a tendency to use pretty much one red ink pen per person when he was grading essays, but he was a very fair and educated professor.
He's also like a third degree black belt in Karate or something, and does an (I think) English 60 class based on martial arts... I think that'd be pretty cool.
