Is installing VNC on all your machines an option? It's a lot cheaper than a four-port KVM switch. Makes cabling much cleaner since you only need power and ethernet, although you would need a monitor/keyboard/mouse for the initial OS install.

I got a belkin kvm (I'm not willing to part with), it does not matter what OS you have. Make sure you get one that can switch with the keyboard. I can go between either computer and with two hits to the control button.

ctrl ctrl KVM's are great if you play Hallo with the default key setup.
