I've had a lot of request this week to get back into modding Xbox's.
For those who haven’t seen my work I'd be more then glad to give anyone a demonstration. I've become pretty adept at the programming of Xbox's (with persistent help of a certain few) and over the summer I became a branch member of Team Xecuter.
For those who already have a "Worseley Xbox" from last semester send me a email sometime next week and I'll upgrade your programming for free There are several new programs that I've installed that you guys should like. (I'm also working on finishing my MAME emulator which will be able to play arcade games like the "Simpsons" or "AVP".
I've also had several people ask me if I'd like to start up the "Blockbuster club" again.... Maybe... right now I think not... give it a month and we'll see.
We're almost done with the bios needed for a 1.6 version Xbox (built after March 2004). So until then I can only mod Xbox’s built before that or a green Halo edition box.
Several people have also asked my how many games I have.... it's 200-ish. I don't really know, but I'm on 2 Xbox's both with 250 gig drives. One full, the other's a TV show box right now.
if i have u mod my xbox how much will it cost?, and will u put the games u have on a new hard drive for me?, and will the xbox still work on xbox live?

My rates are pretty cheap, $40 for the chip, $25 for the install, $5 to swap the Harddrive. So $70 total, compared to the standard $100 that most people charge. (Remember that these are rates for UMR students, townies are a completely different thing.

What's the blockbuster club?
Last semester a group of guys got together to pay for blockbuster's game pass. It's $20 a month so everyone pitched in $5, everytime someone joined the club it would last longer. So as long as we got 4 new guys a month the game ripping would continue. I think we ended up ripping 120 games last semester. The games were shared over Seek, and a couple guys would drop off their box's for the afternoon to get their games and do a direct connection.
The modchips I install come with a on/off switch, you turn the chip off and the box will boot up normally. That's going to be the only way you'll be able to play Xbox Live. So yes, you can still play online, just remember never to play online when the chip is on and the box will boot to your custom background screen.
Also, I never sell games. Never have, never will. That's what the club is for. I'll install the programs to play NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1, GBA and the roms for those, but never will I sell a Xbox game backup.

I have an xbox that is modified with the font hack right now. I'm interested in buying a chip so I can use the evox bios. What chip are you selling for $40?
the chips I get are custom Xecuter chips. I started using custom made chips for some programs I'm working on. The cheapest solderless chip you'll find will run at least $50, and that's for the cheap ones.
No problem, but again evox is not a bios. It's a program, actually one of the several nicknames for the program called "Evolution X" which is one of the most widely used dashboards for new modders. Your probably thinking that "evox" is also the name of the bios, it's not. Your most likly getting the bios "X2 49--" mixed up with the dashboard.
The most current version of the bios is "X2 4983" if that helps you out. Although it's going to be replaced very soon with the bios that we're working on. Like I said before, I'm a branch member of "Team Xecuter" or the people who make the bios your refering to.
The only thing that comes to mind is that your reading super old xbox modding sites. Back when everything was started by Xecuter. Then everything was referred to as Evolution since that was pretty much the only thing out.
