Okay, so I bought a new hard drive earlier (the 160GB Seagate from the guy selling it on Seek). I installed it, set the jumpers to primary slave (my current is primary master), and booted up Windows. The little bubble in my taskbar popped up saying "New Hardware Found" or whatever, and showed my new hard drive. I then went into My Computer to format the drive, only it wasn't there. I went into Device Manager to make sure the drive was still detected, and it was. I've rebooted since then, but I dunno what to do now.

Any advice?

If your running Windows XP Pro go to "Computer Management".

If you open it up click on "Disk Management" on the bottem left hand side. You can format it there.

Awesome, that took care of it. Now the next thing. There was a thread earlier last semester about changing drive letters. Due to my two CD/DVD drives, and my two virtual drives (Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools), the default drive letter is I for the new partition. How would I go about changing it to, say, E?
