i believe there is one copy on the network but disk 3 is corrupted, or so i hear from my roomate and a friend on 6, my roomate and i will prolly make an iso and host it on my file server once i get it up again, since his just went down, and so did mine a few weeks ago

I downloaded a copy off of Seek last night, and it installed & runs fine. The NoCD crack included with the ISOs is compatible with any Far Cry update apparently. The newest update I can find is v1.1, but the crack works as well with it as it did with 1.0.

I have it. I didn't really like the single player, but the multiplayer's okay. I guess I'd be up for a game.

I bought it this summer and beat it. It ran good on my radeon 9800 pro. Its a beautifull game and one of the best single player pc fps's I have played. More fun than doom3 I think.

Yeah, being able to go anywhere on like a 4 square mile area map is very fun.

I never liked the Farcry single player. It definately doesn't beat Doom 3. Sure, at the time it came out, it had some amazing graphics, and some neat ideas, but after the original "ooh aahs" wore off, it was a very average FPS. I don't think that anyone can disagree that the voice-over is atrocious, and the AI has some pretty serious issues. Yes, I know that everyone hailed the AI as some of the best to date, but I've seen far too embarassing moments to agree - I can list some if you want.

And yes, I know that I'm probably the only one here that actually dislikes the game.
