I am having problems using a FTP from my computer to my xbox. I have tried lots of things. CuteFTP worked from my house, but I think my laptop just sucks too much, or I'm too stupid to realize something really stupid I've done to my laptop. If someone could help me, I'd really appreciate it. A step by step reference of how I should set up an FTP correctly would be nice, but I don't see what I'm doing wrong. With a mod chip, xboxes are just like having a computer, and I know it works because I've done it before. IE: since I modded it in the first place... If you could help me, I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

Did you hook the xbox into the campus network, or is it hooked to your computer via crossover cable?

I've tried both, and another thing. I first used a crossover cable from my home pc, I've tried connecting through the same room using the same router on the school's LAN, and I've registered my MAC address and tried connecting through the walls at TJ after that too. I just need some troubleshooting. -I've also tried using multiple static IPs, and if there's one specific to this LAN I should use, what should it be?

Stop by my house and I'll show you what your doing wrong. It's a simple mistake, but it's to hard to explain without walking you through it.

I think his main problem is his software. I've used it before and got it to work, but his version of "cute" may have issues.
