Ok so if you haven't read your /. or gamespy HL2 is suppose to go gold on Monday, with a retail and steam release later next week. Yeah yeah yeah don't spam this thread with the fact that is prolly won't. Anyway, where could i go in Rolla to pick up a pre-order?

Anyway, I don't think that there are any good game stores around here. You'll probably have to go to St. Louis to pick up a preorder, but I'm willing to bet that Walmart will have it the day of release. I was very surprised when I went to my local walmart the day that Doom 3 was released to find about 100 copies on the shelf.

I don't think they sell pc games. I know they sell console, but I haven't seen a sam goody with PC games.

try http://www.gogamer.com . That's how I get all the games I can't find on seek or bittorrent(which =few), and that's where I got all my games before I got here.

They offer 3day shipping at 5.99 for 1-3 titles. They even sell mac games if you're into the sort of thing :?

Was there Monday, and they do infact sell games. Had a nice little Doom3 display up by the register.

Games, yes, the had a lot more titles, but not as many of each (only two or three per title). Software, though, I am not sure about that. Wasn't looking for that.

And by software, I mean like Windows and all that jazz.
