Well you can hope that there could be an arcade in the Havner center. The campus has lots of gamers and DDR people so it would have support.
That's all we need: a room full of sweaty gamers who don't know the existance of the substance known as "soap" running around breaking shit the rest of campus has to pay for.

I don't think there are any in the area, but you could always try out mame. It emulates most all arcade games up to 1995. And if you want an authentic experience, you could look into building your own cabinet. I converted a space duel cabinet this summer and cost me about $300. So if you are looking for any help, you can PM me.
Edit: Also, they have a pretty nice arcade at Brady's in Mizzou. If DDR is your thing, they have 2 machines, they also have a 2 slot Neo Geo cab up there. Last time I was there they had Metal Slug 2 and Neo Turf Masters in. Also up there is Soul Calibur 2, a couple of capcom fighters.

although I play DDR once in a while (I'm by no means good, or a fanatic for that matter... but doesn't make the occasional play out of the question), it's not really the reason I ask... ah well, I'll probably just go to that Ameristar in St. Charles
