Just got back from playing with some local Halo players. Yes, a couple were quite good. Took me a few games to start getting on top of the leaderboard. Jon and I got our butts handed to in 2v2. We've never teamed together before.. So hopefully when JWheezy gets down here, him and Jon can do against them.

I haven't played a LAN in a few months. A few more of these, and I'll be at my A-game. Nice playing with you all!

my bad for not being too detailed for you, by getting on top i meant getting top 3 consistently.. which i did do.. and you can brag all you want about the 2v2 opening, cuz 1) me and jon have never teamed up 2) that was our first LAN since we really quit playing back in january 3) were a 4v4 type of team. But yeah, you did beat us pretty good 2v2. Jon will get Jerome down from MU to play a 2v2. That will be the real 2v2 test. Everyone was complaining about delay, but I didn't seem to notice.. maybe im just that bad -- *sniff*

I could probably start playing hardcore again if you want me to play with your team again. We never lost a tournament when I was with you guys.

im not sure if ill start back up again...ever since the chicago tourney i told myself i was gonna take a break from hardcore halo..and thats been a few months...i had planned on stopping from then until halo 2 comes out...

ill talk to wheezy, and see when he plans on coming down and i guess ill just play hardcore until then and quit after that

A real player never tires. All I am going to say about last night is we had some good games. Lag was fairly bad, but dc and frisky were decent. I dont know about dc getting consistently top 3....maybe once or twice, but he might remember better than I.

So much animosity. Anyways good 2v2 games guys....and yes you did talk trash before we played with that whole "hand out disappointments" thing. Who cares it was all in good fun. As far as 2v2 goes me and TDubs have not played a 2v2 together in 4 months. Hell TDubs doesn't own a console and hasn't played Halo the ENTIRE summer. So if you want more excuses go ahead and make em or you can just suck it up, come back, and learn to get smarter with your playing style. As far as there not being delay thats just a noobish ass thing to say. There is always delay and some people, not including myself, are not very good at adjusting to it. You are telling me you didn't notice that when you hosted the 4v4 with portalfire on your team you won almost every game and then when we hosted 4v4 and you had Trogdor who is a much better player you lost? Maybe those observation skills need to be improved. Anyways, good games and you really ought to come back out and play because you are better then most people here and we like to recruit the best to play with us.

Ok, so I talked a little bit a trash, but that just makes some people bring out there best game, ya know? Get 'em fired up a bit. Be glad to play with you guys some more. I'm trying to pick up the controller again and get back into Halo, and playing with good people will help.

As far as delay, I don't really notice much, because I've usually only played on XBC, and you kind of get used to that. I personally have a harder time on host, trying to adjust less with leads and such.

Vaughn, I'm not sure if I knew who you were. Wasn't really introduced to you last night, just kind of saw people going up and down stairs.

But yep, I'll step it up and give you better competition the more and more I play. Can we play some CTF next time, too? It's my fav..
